Christmas is Love

Christmas is the season during which Christians everywhere give thanks to God the Father for the birth of His Son, Jesus Christ.   This joyous cycle begins on December 25, the Festival of the Nativity of our Lord.
Filipinos celebrate their Christmas by preparing food, and shopping gifts.  Filipinos also love to decorate their houses with Christmas decors.  We celebrate Christmas with so much joy but do we know what the real essence of Christmas is?
The real essence of Christmas for me is LOVE.  Love means spending time for your family, friends and love ones.  The most important thing about Christmas is that we remember the birth of Jesus Christ, not the gifts, the decorations on our houses, etc.  Christmas is all about sharing, saying thank you, forgiving people who have sinned and showing our love to the people around us.
Give love and share what we have every day because every day is Christmas.  It does not end up on the 25th day of December.  It doesn’t end at anytime.

Equal Rights, Equal Opportunities

Equality is an ideal situation that, for various reasons, does not exist in any society in the world today.  It is a social state of affairs in which all people within specific group have the same status in certain respect.  Equality includes equal rights and equal opportunities and obligations and it also involves the whole of society.
Gender discrimination towards women and girls is widespread in all country.  Women are being treated unequal, they are being harassed, and they are being abused and dis-respected.  What they don't know is that women can do what men can do, they are strong like a men.  And I can give a proof to my statement, a number of who women have fought alongside their fellow men in the liberation struggles.  They have contributed a lot in our country, in the progress of the economy.  Women are as hardworking as men.  They can also be a good leader.  And they play a major role in our society, in our families.  For me, women must not be treated unequal; they must be treated justly in families, workplaces, public life and the Church.
Men should be more involved in promoting women’s rights.  Men should not be underestimating the ability of women.  A woman deserves a right treatment.  They deserve to be acknowledged when they’ve done a good deed or a good thing in our country.  Everyone must be treated equal.

A Dangerous Change

Climate change can refer to changes at the global, continental, regional and local levels.  Climate change can be cause by natural variability or as a result of human activity.
Climate changes in response to changes in the global energy balance.  On the broadest scale, the rate at which energy is received from the sun.  And the rate which it is lost to space determine the equilibrium temperature and climate of Earth.  This energy is then distributed around the globe by winds, ocean currents and other mecahnisms to affect the climates of different regions.  The Philippines has experienced temperature spikes brought about by climate change.
We should have took good care of our mother nature, for us not to experience this climate change.  It only people is disciplined with their selves.

Reflection

Second grading period is almost over, the periodical test is near, I can say that time really flies so fast.
Our topic this second grading period is all about the HTML tags.  I have learned that the HTML tags can work by using an angle bracket.  I learned how to use it easily.  I have also known the kinds of the HTML tag.  I thought it always looks like this "<b></b>", but I was wrong it can stand alone.  And I also thought using the HTML tag was hard but it's not, it was easy.  All I have to do is to understand and know the uses of the tags.  Every time we do an exercise I am learning so much more and I wanted to learn more.
A very interesting topic is what I have learned in our subject.  I will never forget what I've learned.  It will be stuck into my mind because I learned so much from it.

My teacher,My hero

Heroes are not only superman, batman, darna etc.  Heroes are not only those who have super strength to save us in trouble.  Our hero gives us inspiration to make our life to the fullest.
Teachers are also considered hero because they make us a better person, they make our dreams easier to reach, they guide us to a better future.  They give inspiration on us, they can be friend on us we can share our problems.  They also teach us good manners and good value.  Teachers are the reason why there are professional doctors, lawyers, engineers etc.  They give all thier time to teach us knowledgable things.  Because of thier sacrifices , we learn so much from them.
Let us thank and respect our teachers for thier sacrifices and time just to teach us knowledgable things.  They will be the reason why we will be a professional someday.

My Superhero of My Life

Many heroes are so familiar to us like Superman, Batman, Spider man, Captain Barbell, Darna and etc.but all of us have favorite hero because of their good attitudes.
I choose "her" to be my hero, even if she has no superpower to save other person especially me :)). Because she has so many good attitudes like being simple always and that thing made me in-love to her, she is always humble to me and to others, she is always happy and that makes me happy also, she also give all the things that I want but I don't take any advantage, she is so lovable to me, she is also sweet every time to me and she is so kind to me, she give me what I want but again I don't take any advantage to it.
Being my superhero of my life I will always love you and I will be loyal to you all the time. :))

Importance of Breastfeeding

Breastfeeding has a very important for a mother. To breastfeed a newly born baby is a great sacrifice on the part of motherhood.

There are so mamy benifits that a baby/child can have by breastfeeding. Babies can get the most complete nutrients that their body needs when they are breastfed. Breastfed babies enjoy a special bonding relationship with their mothers. A human milk is the healthiest milk fir babies. Breastfed babies develops higher I.Q. and breastfeeding helps to improve brain and nervous system of babies.

So why breastfeed, Since there are commercially pack milk available in the market. Simple, because mothers milk is the best milk for a baby.

Nation First, Before Yourself

June 08, 2011

Dear Mr. President,

First of all Mr. President, I would like to greet you a pleasant day. I am studying at Ilocos Sur National High School (ISNHS) in Vigan City, Ilocos Sur. This school is the biggest school among population in the entire Ilocos Sur.
I have a lot of thoughts about the problems of our school. Because our school have less facilities like electric fan, comfort rooms that are smelly because some students do not know how to use and clean the C.R., our school also have less amount of books because of age and we have a ratio of one book is to two students. Because of some student who are not putting their garbage well in the trash our dumping area is full of garbage, because of some garbage that trap our canals it causes flood in our school.
I hope Mr. President that you can do my thoughts about our problems in our school. And I hope you can do this as early as possible Mr. President so that the next generation can use this school.

  Respectfully yours,
Ariel Rebuldela
