Christmas is Love

Christmas is the season during which Christians everywhere give thanks to God the Father for the birth of His Son, Jesus Christ.   This joyous cycle begins on December 25, the Festival of the Nativity of our Lord.
Filipinos celebrate their Christmas by preparing food, and shopping gifts.  Filipinos also love to decorate their houses with Christmas decors.  We celebrate Christmas with so much joy but do we know what the real essence of Christmas is?
The real essence of Christmas for me is LOVE.  Love means spending time for your family, friends and love ones.  The most important thing about Christmas is that we remember the birth of Jesus Christ, not the gifts, the decorations on our houses, etc.  Christmas is all about sharing, saying thank you, forgiving people who have sinned and showing our love to the people around us.
Give love and share what we have every day because every day is Christmas.  It does not end up on the 25th day of December.  It doesn’t end at anytime.

Equal Rights, Equal Opportunities

Equality is an ideal situation that, for various reasons, does not exist in any society in the world today.  It is a social state of affairs in which all people within specific group have the same status in certain respect.  Equality includes equal rights and equal opportunities and obligations and it also involves the whole of society.
Gender discrimination towards women and girls is widespread in all country.  Women are being treated unequal, they are being harassed, and they are being abused and dis-respected.  What they don't know is that women can do what men can do, they are strong like a men.  And I can give a proof to my statement, a number of who women have fought alongside their fellow men in the liberation struggles.  They have contributed a lot in our country, in the progress of the economy.  Women are as hardworking as men.  They can also be a good leader.  And they play a major role in our society, in our families.  For me, women must not be treated unequal; they must be treated justly in families, workplaces, public life and the Church.
Men should be more involved in promoting women’s rights.  Men should not be underestimating the ability of women.  A woman deserves a right treatment.  They deserve to be acknowledged when they’ve done a good deed or a good thing in our country.  Everyone must be treated equal.

A Dangerous Change

Climate change can refer to changes at the global, continental, regional and local levels.  Climate change can be cause by natural variability or as a result of human activity.
Climate changes in response to changes in the global energy balance.  On the broadest scale, the rate at which energy is received from the sun.  And the rate which it is lost to space determine the equilibrium temperature and climate of Earth.  This energy is then distributed around the globe by winds, ocean currents and other mecahnisms to affect the climates of different regions.  The Philippines has experienced temperature spikes brought about by climate change.
We should have took good care of our mother nature, for us not to experience this climate change.  It only people is disciplined with their selves.
