How Does It Take To Be An ICT Student?

An ICT or Information Communications Technology is a study about computers and electronic technology.
Being an ICT student, I have learned so much about computer. Having an ICT subject in class had help me to gain more knowledge about computer. It is fun to be an ICT student because of the knowledge that I have been learning since the first grading until the last grading. Every lesson is very interesting to learn.
Living in a modern world, being an ICT student has a lot of advantages.

Change: It Starts with Me

"The first step toward change is acceptance.  Once you accept yourself, you open the door to change. That's all you have to do.  Change is not something you do, it's something you allow."
                -Will Garcia

For us to have a better country and better living, we must change first ourselves, we must start the change within our selves.  Let us be a better person, a better, responsible and disciplined citizen of our country, for us to achieve the progress that we all want to have.

Let us not depend on other people for us to have a better life and a better country.  Let's start the change in ourselves.  Everybody has a chance to change.

Kannawidan: The Ylocos Festival

The Kannawidan Festival is celebrated on the 29th of January up to the 5th of February.  It was launched in 2008 under the leadership of then Governor DV Savellano.
The Kannawidan Festival is now on it's 5th year.  We can preserve our traditions and products of our town and we can also promote tourism industry through the Kannawidan Festival.  It was opened with a concelebrated mass held at the St. Paul Metropolitan Cathedral followed by a procession of the patron saints in January 29 and on the night of the same date, the members of the Bayanihan Dance Company entertained the Ilocanos with their world class performance of the Beauty of the Philippines through dances, music and sounds.  There were also different contests for elementary and high school students.  Partuat ken Patanor Trade and Agri Fait also opened and the annual “Pinaka Contest” was also held.
We should love our own products and we should know our old traditions, cultures and practices that the Ilocanos have.

My Reflection for Third Grading

Another grading has ended. Another interesting and enjoyable topic has put into my mind.
This third grading, our teacher, Mrs Vera Cruz taught us about HTML Images, HTML Links, Tag Attributes and Font Attributes. Displaying an image to a page, applying a background image and background colour, applying font face, font size, font colour on a word or sentence and linking a page to another page are the things that I’ve learnt in our ICT subject.
I find this topic very interesting but a bit hard for me, because the tags are too long to memorize, but still, it’s still fun and exciting to learn. I also find making essays hard for our blogs but I was still able to make an essay and I was able to submit and post my essays.
I am gaining so much knowledge every grading period, and I always find our lessons in ICT very interesting and fun. I hope that for the next grading, I will learn more about our subject.

New Year, New Me

"For last year's words belong to last year's language
and next year's words await another voice.
And to make an end is to make a beginning. "
                                                     ~T. S. Eliot

New Year, new life and new hope come and change ourselves. Everyone wants to reform themselves, and we have our own reasons why.  Like me, I want to change or reform my personality because I want to become a better person.  Then I start it beautiful. Many have changed with my personality; I became better person and became more responsible.
We should all change our bad habits, for us to have the beautiful and harmonious life.

Keeping In Mind Our Mother Tongue

What is MOTHER TONGUE?  MOTHER TONGUE denotes not only the language one learns from one's mother but also the speakers dominant and home language.
We all have our MOTHER TONGUE, like Bisaya,  Cebuano, Tagalog, etc.  Mother tongue is also known as our native language or simply called our own dialect.  My mother tongue is Yloco, because I am from Ilocos.  It is the first language that I've learned when I learned how to speak.  It is the language that I've learned from my parents.
Keep in mind our mother tongue, so that we could understand the people who are leaving in the same place where we live.
